Public Golf
The Kenora Golf & Country Club welcomes Public play 7 days a week with tee times allowed 5 days prior to play.
Please take note of the following rules and regulations:
- We are a soft spike facility. No metal spikes will be allowed.
- A casual dress code is in effect. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Casual attire does not allow tank tops, camis, short shorts, cut offs or athletic bras. Shorts/skorts must be at least 1/2 way down thigh and shirts must cover mid-drift.
- Due to LCBO law, alcohol is not permitted, unless purchased from the bar or beverage cart.
- Golf carts are permitted to go 90 degrees with the exception of all par 3’s and hole #3 and #4, unless posted otherwise, weather permitting.
- Only two people may ride in a golf car at one time.
- Maximum of two power carts per foursome.
- Each player must have their own set of clubs and bag.
- Twosomes and singles will be paired up with another twosome or threesome by either the Pro Shop or Course Assistant during peak times.
- Play ready golf to speed up the pace of play. Please keep the group ahead in sight and allow faster players to play through if gaps arise.
- Replace divots, repair ball marks on greens and rake bunkers.

Rental Equipment
New for 2026 – Our Yamaha power carts will be equipped with Yamatrack GPS units. There is no need for GPS yardage units as yardages will be shown on the screen of the rental cart. Food and beverage menus, pace of play monitoring and general messaging will also featured. These units provide geofencing, which limits the cart’s access to restricted areas (ie off par 3 cart paths, past signage near green, bush areas). If a cart is in this area, it will temporarily shut down and ask you to move back to the non restricted areas. We are hoping by limiting access to trouble areas that damage to both the course and power carts will be reduced.
Please note: Players 18 years of age and older are permitted to rent and drive power carts and must produce a valid drivers license. A credit card and rental agreement signature must be provided prior to rental. Two power carts per foursome. Ride along players (when permitted), must pay for their seat on the power cart. Ride along players will not be allowed when there is more than 4 players in the group or on busy days at the discretion of the Pro Shop.
