NEW CART POLICY FOR THOSE UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE:
Dear Members and Guests,
The Kenora Golf & Country Club is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits our facility.
Effective immediately, individuals under the age of 16 that are not accompanied by an adult are not permitted to operate golf carts anywhere on Kenora Golf & Country Club property without the supervision of an adult (18 years of age or older). This includes utilizing the golf course parking lots or cart paths to gain access to the clubhouse area.
Following a review of our risk management and insurance obligations, the Kenora Golf & Country Club Board of Directors has implemented this policy to enhance the safety of our members, guests, staff, and visitors while ensuring the Club remains compliant with its liability requirements.
This policy applies to all individuals under the age of 16, including:
Junior Members
Junior Green Fee Players
Kenora Golf & Country Club staff members
We understand this may be an adjustment for some of our junior golfers and families, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize the safety of everyone on Club property.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact the Pro Shop or Club Management.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Club.
Sincerely,
Kenora Golf & Country Club Board of Directors

Due to an increased number of damaged power carts in the 2024 - 2025 season, in order to rent or drive a power cart, players must be at least 18 years of age or older and register with a valid credit card number or $200.00 cash deposit prior to the round. Any damages incurred, are the responsibility of the lessee.
The carts are equipped with Yamatrack GPS and geofencing, which allows for tracking of power cart travel to ensure that damage to the course and carts is minimized.
